CJ offers a range of performances for children of all ages. These are interactive sessions from CJ’s extensive repertoire of stories and are performed with songs, actions, call and response and lots of fun.

CJ offers these performances to schools on a full day, half day or assembly show basis.

Full day sessions includes 2 x 45minute sessions and 2 x 30minute sessions.

Half day sessions includes 1 x 45minute session and 1 x 30minute session.

Assembly style shows include one performance of a maximum of 40minutes.

  • Early Years Sessions

    CJ’s sessions for early years children will include a short interactive story - told with actions, call and response, dynamic sounds and facial expressions- alongside songs and rhymes.

    Stories may include: The Bear Who Loved The Flower, Take a Little Walk Bear, The Monkeys and The Cap Seller or another story suited to this age group.

  • Key Stage One Sessions

    CJ’s sessions for Key Stage One children are drawn from an extensive repertoire of world folktales. Told with CJ’s signature interactive style, they are linked to value education and national curriculum themes.

    Stories may include: The Fox’s Wedding, Dishoom, The Ladybird who Lost her Spots, or another story suited to this age group.

  • Key Stage Two Sessions

    CJ’s sessions for Key Stage Two children cover a wide range of genres that include folktales, myths, funny and scary stories. The sessions make for great inspiration for follow up writing work for the children.

    Stories may include: Broken Red Bangles, The Boy who Loved the Buffalo, The Mountain, or another story suited to this age group.
